8BadmintonThe group meets weekly. Sessions are run on 3 pre booked courts, starting with 10 minutes stretching warm up exercises then play, changing partners after each game. Ability is from beginners upwards.Every Wed 9am
9BiographyMembers take it in turns to present a biography of any subject from any angle. We take about 8 people a year so your turn will not come up too often! Presentations often lead to lively discussion. New members welcome.2nd Mon 10.30am

11BirdingWe visit bird watching areas, which could be anywhere, and learn about the species that we see, using field guides. We often visit local areas for a morning’s walk, but sometimes go further afield and have either a picnic or pub lunch2nd Wed 10am
12Book Club 1A very friendly and informal group. We read a wide variety of books, both fiction and non-fiction, contemporary and traditional. Books are selected by the members and one book is presented and discussed at each meeting.2nd Tue 10.30am
