How much will it cost me?
The subscription for 2013 is £12 for a single subscription or £20 for joint. Members are expected to contribute a small sum per meeting to cover hire charges for premises, and also to make a small contribution towards the cost of coffee, tea etc.
We charge £1 for Open Meetings to cover room hire and refreshments.
Do I need qualifications to join?
No, you do not. Neither are qualifications awarded. We learn for pleasure.
U3A membership is not related to a specific age but to a period in one’s life (the third age) after the second age of full-time employment and parental responsibility. We welcome anybody in their third age and this includes people who are working part time. There is no lower age for membership.
