A Day at the Everyman Theatre
Date: Saturday 9th February 2019
‘Waiting for Godot’ by Samuel Beckett
was one of the most iconic plays of the 20th century. The Everyman is putting on a production of this tragi-comedy, starring Alan Digweed (better known as Tweedy the clown, who appears at Giffords Circus and in Everyman pantomimes).
Would you like to spend a day at the Everyman, including seeing the matinee on Saturday 9th February? Our previous visits have been illuminating and good fun. Here’s the plan:
11.00am… Meet for coffee/tea in Matchams.
11.30am… A talk from Paul Milton, the director, giving us an insight into the play and the production.
12.15pm… Visit the stage to look at the set, and to see the theatre as actors see it.12.30pm… Buffet lunch in Matchams.
2.00pm….. Matinee(seats in the Dress Circle).
After the show….tea/coffee in Matchams and a chance to chat about the performance.
The cost of the day is £28.50. Spaces are limited so if you are interested, please contact me as soon as possible.
