The Life of a SuperTramp by John Roberts

Unfortunately Mike Phillips is unable give his talk on The Bauhaus in October.  We hope to reschedule him at a later date.

The Life of a Supertramp by John Roberts

W H Davies was born in Wales and went to America and rode the rails as a hobo. After losing a leg he returned to the UK and became known as a Supertramp writing volumes of poetry about the countryside.  He was praised by George Bernard Shaw and became an associate of Rupert Brooke, D H Lawrence and other contemporary poets.
