The Arboretum is a celebration of lives lived. It is set in a large, landscaped site, with the emphasis on tree planting and memorials to over 400 organisations. A new memorial to those who lost their lives in the pandemic is planned for 2022. At the centre of the Arboretum is the circular wall listing the names of the Armed Services personnel who have lost their lives since 1945.

As the site is so large there is a Land Train. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Should you wish to book a seat on the Land Train, please add an extra £6 to your cheque.

The site also includes a Chapel, shop, cafe and restaurant, but you may wish to bring your own lunch.

Further details about the range of organisations that have memorials and their gardens, can be found on the Arboretum website, www.thenma.org.
