Genetic Genealogy Group

Have you taken a DNA test for family history purposes but are struggling to make sense of the results? Have you got a mystery in your family line (such as an unknown parent or grandparent) which DNA research might help to solve?
The Genetic Genealogy Group Would welcome new members on either a short or long term basis.  We offer advice and assistance on interpreting DNA results.  Group members also investigate individual family history mysteries, and have over the last year identified someone’s birth parents and put them in touch with their newly discovered family, and have identified another person’s grandparent and put them in touch with their new cousins.
The Group meets about every 2 months; recent meetings have been on line, but we aim to meet in person again in 2022.
Enquiries in the first instance to:
Group Leader: Lawrence Pearse
