Please note that  the talk “Sentenced to ‘Beyond the Seas'” has been postponed to a later date and will be replaced on 28 June by:

‘Our Heritage of Song’  that covers sea shanties to folk music and our magnificent hymns.  Robin Burton uses pictures and songs to explore this treasure trove of our musical heritage. Many of these songs have been collected by Ralph Vaughn Williams and Sabine Baring Gould who wrote ‘Onward Christian Soldiers’  His photo may be found on the Public Speakers Corner website.
