Folk Group Formal Launch in u3a Magazine

The u3a folk group has been slowly forming since about last October, and we now meet on the 1^st and 3^rd Wednesdays at 2pm. Between us we play various instruments: recorder, ukulele, concertina and guitar, and we are beginning to get together as a band playing a mix of traditional folk music plus folk songs from the 1960s onwards. The u3a National Advisor on Folk Music has been running a Folk Band for Gloucester u3a for about 6 years, and we have met up on a couple of occasions. We would welcome additional members, and their instruments, singers, and anyone with experience of musically guiding a Folk Band.
