Objectives
This group will help members organise their own travel — UK, Europe, World Wide.
This group will not organise any travel.

Method
Members will talk about their past holidays, so that we can learn about the location, the places to visit, and how the holiday was planned.
Occasionally members will do research and promote a travel plan. This can be done by working with a another member; i.e. a “buddy”.

We will offer support to members on the following topics:-
How to get foreign money.
How to get travel insurance.
How to get a visa.

We will maintain a list of web sites that offer security of use, and reasonable cost of a holiday.
We will identify events that are free (to attend).
We will organise meals at local restaurants that specialise in foreign cuisine.
We will ask U3A Language Teachers to visit us and offer a sample language lesson.
We may publish a newsletter of holidays that members are planning.

Meetings
Currently we meet at members houses on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
