We meet at a venue in the centre of Cheltenham to listen to and enjoy jazz. Members may make a presentation of a particular musician, a style, an era, an instrument. Otherwise members choose a particular track, played either by CD or streaming via WiFi, and offer a story or other background information. We have a broad range of knowledge which makes these events particularly informative if one’s interest is in one particular style. From early Louis Armstrong to the present day, come and join us to explore America’s gift to the world and the pre-eminent improvised music.
