A classic novel is representative of the period in which it was written and has stood the test of time. We read not only English classics but also foreign classics from the 19th and first half of the 20th centuries. Members volunteer to introduce the author and give an introductory review of the book to start the discussion. Our meetings are on the first Friday of the month at 2:30 and are held at a private address in Leckhampton, near to the Bath Road and convenient for bus routes.
